This is a truly special excursion EXCLUSIVE to guests of Glendeven Inn.

Just a short walk or drive down to Van Damme beach -- minutes from your room -- you'll be greeted by your private guide who will take you on a private tour of the sea caves, coves, and headlands north or south of Van Damme State Park.

You'll be sent with a gourmet backpack of delicious fare for your day or evening tour -- add a fine bottle of local Anderson Valley wine or champagne for $25 more if you choose.

You'll stop at a private beach to dine -- a very special adventure for two!

Times are flexible. Sunset trips available too!

• These are sit-on-top ocean kayaks
• You only need a bathing suit and a t-shirt or sweatshirt
• All other equipment is provided for you: wetsuit, booties, life jacket, splash jacket, & helmet

NOTE: You can get to the launch-site at Van Damme Beach by either walking down Glendeven's Forest Trail (20 minutes) or the state park access trail (15 minutes) or driving (2 minutes)

Bring up to FIVE of your closest friends and spend the weekend away from it all in The Barn Loft. Enjoy 2,000 square feet of relaxation and fun. You'll have your own kitchen, a full dining room, huge living room with firsplace, a library, and a TV loft. There are five beds -- one queen, one king, two queen pullouts, and a large daybed. Room enough for five singles or six total.

We'll pretend like there's only two of you, and so the room pricing will be based on double occupancy* ($335 per night), no matter how many friends come! (Normally it's $50 per person, per night extra.) (NOTE there are one and a quarter baths, so be sure to include only your bestest friends!)

• OUTDOORSY GETAWAY ($670 + $50 pp for Ocean Kayaking + bicycle rental for two nights plus taxes)
  • Ocean kayaking to see the caves and coves off the Van Damme State Park headlands
  • Go cycling up big river. We'll help you arrange bike rentals from Catch-A-Canoe and Bicycles Too, just one mile north of Glendeven.
