The Barn Loft

The Barn Loft, a Vacation Rental
2,072 sq ft. Enjoy wonderful ocean, forest, and meadow views from the estate's original three story barn, which has been transformed into a spacious and inviting vacation rental. This stand-alone rental comprises the second and third stories of the former barn of the property. It is above the first floor home to our wine tasting area (hours 2-7 daily only), gallery, and lounge. There are two bedrooms, plus a loft-bedroom with accommodations for up to six, including children over 7 years old, and one-and-a-quarter baths.

Enjoy the private deck overlooking the grounds, with room views of both the ocean and forest. There is a private garden below, with access to the Inn's greenhouse and hummingbird garden. There is a full kitchen (breakfasts are not included), an office area with free Wi-Fi, a library, TV with cable, a full dining room, and plenty of privacy.

Personalized grocery shopping is available with 24-hour notice. Private Chef dinners can be arranged. A two-night minimum stay is required.

Base pricing is listed as weekday / weekend. Does not include breakfast service.

This house has breathtaking ocean views, a fireplace, and very comfortable sitting room with a full kitchen and a large master bedroom -- with ocean views from every room. It is located just 8 miles south of Mendocino village (or six miles south of Glendeven Inn.)

This house is perfect for couples seeking a private, romantic, and serene place to be together. Sweeping ocean views, a large private outdoor jetted hot tub, a full kitchen with all the tools necessary for cooking your own gourmet meals -- we can even set you up with a private chef for that picture perfect meal away from it all.

You are close to fine dining at the Ledford House and Albion River Inn, and you have nearby access to the market at Albion, which has everything you'll need. We also offer personalized grocery shopping which is available with 24-hour notice. Inn breakfasts are not included.

AMENITIES: Flat-screen TV with free satellite, an iPod-ready sound system, a brick hearthed fireplace, a full kitchen, a large private jetted outdoor spa tub (with no additional cleaning fees), two private decks, sweeping ocean views, champagne on arrival, and there are even comfy Glendeven robes! Beach access is only moments away, and your private garden and ocean view decks offer solitude and peace.

Beach Trail Cottage, a Glendeven Vacation Rental
1,800 sq ft. 2-bedroom 1-bath ocean view home situated on a quiet country lane just steps from Glendeven Inn down toward the sea.

This cottage sits at the head of the trail to Van Damme State Beach, and is flanked by its own private trail leading to the headlands. Find the sandy beach, curious sea lions, spotted harbor seals, hunting osprey, and many tidepools within steps from your door.

The Beach Trail Cottage is a two story, fully restored, 150 year old home with fine linens, a fully stocked kitchen, with an upper floor master suite providing white water views down the coast looking out over Van Damme State Beach. It is private and quiet, but also within a five minute walk to the amenities of Glendeven and its Wine Bar[n].

The cottage is located just 2 miles south of the Mendocino Village. It is terrific for couples wanting a private, romantic, place to be together, for two couples traveling together, or for families of four. Children over 7 years old are welcomed.

Private in-cottage dinners are available.

Breakfast at Glendeven Inn's ocean view dining room in its main farmhouse can be arranged for an added fee of $20 per person per day. Inn breakfasts are not included in the base pricing. We also offer personalized grocery shopping which is available with 24-hour notice.
